Erik Satie (fr. Erik Satie was born May 17, 1866 in the Normandy town of Honfleur (Calvados department). C four to six years old when his mother died, Eric lived with his family in Paris. In 1879 and 1885 he acted Satie twice the Paris Conservatoire, and not graduating.

Under his direct influence also formed such famous composers as Claude Debussy, the famous French group of composers “six» (Les Six). Creativity Satie and associations of composers existed for just over a year, had a strong influence on Shostakovich. Within a decade, one of the brightest followers Sati was Igor Stravinsky.
