Kate Capshaw (Eng. Kate Capshaw . p. 3 November 1953), nee Kathleen Sue Nail – is an American actress. Known thanks to the participation in the adventure blockbuster “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom” (1984) and marriage with director Steven Spielberg.

The actress was born on November 3, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. At the age of five with his parents moved to St. Louis. He was educated at the University of Missouri, and then for two years as a teacher in a school for disabled children. There, she moved closer to the school director Robert Capshaw, in 1976, got married and took her husband’s name. In the same year, Kathleen gave birth to a daughter, Jessica, but four years later divorced her husband.

Then, Kathleen, dreaming of a career as an actress, moved to New York where he started acting in television commercials and take acting classes and singing. In 1982, she made her film debut starring in the romantic comedy “A little bit of sex,”and on television – in the drama”Missing Children: A Mother’s Story┬╗.

In 1984, the actress was lucky.
