Cascada is one of the most successful dance-pop bands in the world, selling more than 30 million records.

31-years old Bonn-based Natalie (daughter of David Horler, an acclaimed jazz musician and arranger who worked with the likes of Quincy Jones, Stan Getz and Tony Bennett) grew up with music, though she was more infuenced by stars like Maria Carey and Whitney Houston than by her dad’s trombone playing. At age 18 she started studio work and recorded several tracks for various DJs. In 2004, through her studio work, she met Cologne-based producers Yann Peifer (Yanou) and Manuel Reuter (Manian) who invited her to front their new project, Cascada.

Soon Cascada has produced their debut hit single, "Miracle", released on Andorfine Records. Cascada experienced mainstream success in the United Kingdom and the United States almost a year after releasing their second single, "Everytime We Touch". The song gained platinum and gold certifications across the globe. The debut album of the band has been released in 2007. It has experienced success in the UK Album chart where it remained up in the top forty for twenty-four weeks, peaking at #2. The success of the album gained them two World Music Award nominations, winning the World’s Best-Selling German Artist. Additionally, the album has sold over 5 million copies world-wide.

Second album of the band "Perfect Day" has been released in 2008 with the world-wide lead single, "What Hurts the Most". Third album, "Evacuate the Dancefloor" was released in July 2009. The lead single from it debuted at No. 1 in UK and went on to achieve top five success in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, and New Zealand. The album continued Cascada’s progression into electro-pop. The group toured extensively to promote the album, even opening for Britney Spears during a stop in Germany.

Series of singles followed in 2010 and the album Original Me was released in June 2011 in UK, release in US was made on Zooland label in November. Songs on the album were diversified from pure pop, not overly dance, to house beats and guitars. Sinlges "Summer of Love" and "The Rhythm of the Night" as well as album "It’s Christmas Time" with Christmas songs were released in 2012.

Cascada is a group of three musicians: Natalie Horler, DJ Manian, and Yanou (responsible for melodies and most of the lyrics). DJ Manian (Manuel Reuter) is also music producer. Together with Yanou they have founded label "Zooland Records". In February 2013 DJ Manian will also release his 2nd own album. Yanou (Yann Peifer) has scored a number-one hit in UK in 2001 with cover of Brian Adams’ "Heaven". In 2012, Natalie was jury member of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar". Before Cascada, she herself tried in the talent show "Star Search", but was rejected.

The German TV channel NDR announced on December 17 that Cascada will be part of the national final for the Eurovison Song Contest 2013 in Hannover. The music video of "Glorious" was released on the 1st of February and the single was released a week later on February 8th.
