Family Nicole Trunfio moved from Dubbo in Merredin, Western Australia, when she was less than a year. When the future model was nine years old, the family moved again. This time, the city of Australind. The family had four children, Nicole and she was the youngest. Her father, an Italian from Reggio Calabria, moonlighted as a mechanic and sometimes a musician, and her mother worked in a barbershop. Nicole went to a Catholic school St. Mary, which had the reputation of a very intelligent and capable student.
