You’re a long way from Walford now: EastEnders star Letitia Dean dresses down for a night out at Groucho

She plays a nightclub boss on screen but in real life EastEnders star Letitia Dean prefers to enjoy a night out rather than run one.

The 45-year-old soap star enjoyed an evening at The Groucho Clubin, Soho with a group of friends.

Letitia ditched her glamorous work wardrobe for a casual outfit for the evening.

The actress, who plays Sharon Watts on the East End soap wore a pair of jeans, a blouse and covered u with a leather jacket.

Instead of having her blonde tresses in a big blow dry, Leititia left her hair straight and fuss free.

She added a few extra inches to her height with a pair of beige suede heels.

Letitia finished off her look with a shiny fire engine red manicure.

The actress wasn’t the only familiar face to pay a visit to Groucho club on Saturday night, she was also joined by Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia.

While the actress appeared to be enjoying a relaxed evening, her character on screen is set to go through a particularly difficult time.

It was revealed that Sharon’s addiction to painkillers will be revealed by teenage mum Lola Pearce.

Letitia Dean recently explained she hopes the situation will bring Sharon and Phil closer together, with the burly mechanic understanding her woes after having gone through a cocaine addiction himself.

Speaking to Inside Soap magazine, she said: ‘I really hope the writers pursue that because Phil should understand what Sharon is going through. I think it is very important that they have that talk. Phil probably has a lot of things he could say to Sharon about addiction.

‘I think her and Phil love each other. They’re just two old gimmers getting back together. The public will like seeing them back together, and loves their history. But who knows if this is the right time for them?’
