Visible scars: Jessie Wallace stepped off the EastEnders set in London, wearing her alter ego Kat Slater’s burns makeup on Thursday
Jessie wore her jet black hair down in a sleek ponytail, and was barefaced aside from the specially applied burns makeup.
In direct contrast to her characer’s normal colourful attire, the four-times British Soap Awards’ Sexiest Woman, chose a comfortable all black ensemble of leggings and T-shirt, with a long padded coat.
She accessorised her outfit with a pair of black knee high boots, and wore an unusual looking silver pendant necklace.
Jessie kept a pair of sunglasses firmly welded to head as she dashed along the street.

The actress’s character has been struggling to adjust back to normal life, and is afraid to leave her house since receiving her horrific injuries in a house fire started by her husband and the father of her twins Bert and Ernie, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie).
Alfie has still not told Kat it was he, who was responsible for the blaze as part of an insurance scam, and is full of crippling guilt as he tries to help her cope with her disfigurement.

Speaking on This Morning, Shane recently told co-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that Kat’s injuries as a result of the fire will be ‘life-changing’.
He said: ‘For Jessie as an actress, being able to play the storyline we have got coming up after this event is brilliant.’
He added: ‘It will be such a departure from how we know Kat now – the tart with the heart and the heavy make-up. She will become the complete opposite to that. It is heartbreaking.’
