Emily Mortimer Kathleen (Emily Kathleen A. Mortimer) was born on December 1, 1971 in London. Her mother Penelope Gollop (Penelope Gollop) – the second wife of the well-known lawyer and playwright Sir John Mortimer (Sir John Mortimer). Emily has a dear little sister Rosie (Rosie). Her father also has a daughter, Sally (Sally) and son Jeremy (Jeremy) from his first marriage with the writer Penelope Fletcher (Penelope Fletcher) and son Ross Bentley (Ross Bentley) by an actress Wendy Craig (Wendy Craig).
